Founded on passion, experience and a love for bridalwear, Belle Brides is the result of Linda’s journey through the bridal industry, a journey spanning more than 25 years.

Linda began her career in bridal in 1998, working as a sales assistant for an independent bridal boutique. Within just six months, she became the boutique’s manager, where she was fortunate to learn from an incredibly experienced bridal professional. During this time, Linda developed a deep understanding of bridalwear, learning about pattern cutting, how gowns are constructed, different shapes and silhouettes, and the craftsmanship behind each dress.

When the boutique owner retired in 2003, Linda began the next chapter of her career as a manager with Berketex Bridal, where she worked from 2003 until 2016.

Following this, Linda became a bridal agent, travelling across the country to showcase new collections to bridal boutiques and build relationships with retailers. This gave her an invaluable insight into the bridal industry from another perspective, as well as the opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful designers and collections available.

From Dream to Boutique 

In 2018, Linda decided it was time to follow her dream of opening her own bridal shop. After searching for the perfect premises, Beau Brides opened its doors in Bexley Village in 2019.

Then came 2020 and the unexpected challenge of lockdown. Despite the uncertainty, Linda remained determined to keep her dream alive. When restrictions were lifted, Beau Brides reopened its doors and continued to grow.

By 2024, Linda needed to find a new home for the business. When the perfect opportunity arose in Rochester, everything came together remarkably quickly, within just three days, Linda had secured the tenancy.

On 1st March, Beau Brides opened in Rochester, continuing under the same name, with the same owner, passion and dedication.

The Beginning of Belle Brides

In 2025, an exciting opportunity arose to collaborate with a designer, bringing a new chapter to the business. This led to the rebrand from Beau Brides to Belle Brides.

While the name changed, the heart of the business remained the same, the same shop, the same owner, the same trusted designers and the same personal service, with one exciting addition: Linda could now bring some of her own designs to life.

Since moving to Rochester, the business has gone from strength to strength, growing by 100% and establishing Belle Brides as a destination for brides looking for beautiful gowns, expert knowledge and a truly personal experience.
